ECHP is a team of experts with several years of experience in managing major construction projects. Our team has experience in multiple fields such as civil engineering, buildings, public transportation, infrastructure, bridges as well as public utilities

Giovanni Cipolla, ing., M.Sc.A.

Mr. Cipolla graduated from École Polytechnique de Montréal in 1995, with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, and went on to complete his Master’s Degree in 1998, with a specialization in earthquake engineering at that same institution. He is a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).

Mr. Cipolla has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, having worked as a structural designer and as a general contractor. He is a co-founder of ECHP.

Throughout his career, he has led and managed heavy civil projects, including the Réseau Express Métropolitain (REM) project in Montréal, as a Director of two of the three branches of the project. His field of expertise covers project management, project planning, contract negotiation, claims and expertise, as well as design-build type projects. Understanding the complexity of multidisciplinary projects, he brings a collaborative approach to reunite all parties, including the Client, to work as one keeping focus on scope, costs and deadlines.

Scott Houghton, ing.

Scott has over ten years’ experience in the construction industry working on major projects.

Since obtaining his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from McGill University in 2010, he has worked on numerous major infrastructure projects. Throughout his career he has worked as a contractor as well as a design-coordinator in a design-build context.

With this experience, he has in-depth knowledge of all aspects of construction project management as well as strong technical skills in numerous disciplines. He has managed projects during all phases, from design to completion, understanding the intricacies and integration of various disciplines. He works with a collaborative approach with all project stakeholders and has the ability to find creative solutions to technical problems. He is co-founder of ECHP.
